Barbie Dolls

I've discovered a new dimension of meaning to possessing Barbie Dolls, from an adult's point of view. Initially it was a means to regaining a lost childhood, abruptly cut short by a decision to deprive due to excess (paradox?) but gradually, it now allows the creativity of fashion to emerge, the hidden desires to come forth and the opportunity to gain satisfaction from these fulfilled agendas. It generally plays the same role for me, as model airplanes and tanks for grown men.
